“The entire Represent Running team grew up in the Bay Area and it has been our dream to create Silicon Valley’s signature sporting event,” said J.T. Service, Founder of Represent Running. “Silicon Valley dreams big, so for this event, we also believe that dreaming big should start at a young age. By partnering with SVEF as our official charity, each participant will know that they are supporting the educational success of all students in Silicon Valley.”
“Everyone at SVEF is so excited to be partnering with Represent Running for the Silicon Valley Half! San Jose is overdue for a great local event like this…especially one where our school district partners can get students and staff involved in something fun, that also promotes health and wellness” commented Manny Barbara, SVEF Interim CEO and Vice President, Advocacy and Thought Leadership.
