The team behind Run Local spent last weekend in the Arizona desert directing the HOKA Project Carbon X 2 100K (62 miles) record attempts. It was deeply inspiring to watch these athletes dig deeper than they ever have and we wanted to share this experience with you.

We had the pleasure of being joined by runner-up Rajpaul Pannu on @RunLocalEvents IGTV. With his 6:28:31 he became the 3rd fastest American at 100K in his debut at the distance. Born in Hercules, CA, he is a member of the HOKA Aggies and lives in Colorado where he is a full-time teacher.

? Watch our conversation with Rajpaul on IGTV and catch a replay of the HOKA Project Carbon X 2  below.

Rajpaul’s inspiring story begins with his journey to lose weight in high school and has since taken him to an Olympic Marathon Trials qualifier in 2020 and now bona fide ultra runner.
