Thank you to our participants who have supported two causes that are supporting our communities in fundamental ways – No Kid Hungry and Campaign Zero.

Please consider visiting our donate page to make a contribution. Event participants can also set up a unique fundraising page to share and collect donations from your network.

Most importantly, we encourage you to take action in your own community, whether for a Run Local supported organization, or any another. Thanks again.

No Kid Hungry (Tax ID 52-1367538)

Mission Statement: No kid in America should go hungry.

Work: Millions of kids face hunger all across the United States, in every community. It’s real. With your help, we can change it.

The truth? We have plenty of food in this country. We also have effective programs to feed kids. The problem is not enough families have access to them. Here’s how we can fix that:

  1. School breakfast
  2. Afterschool meals
  3. Summer meal program
  4. Family Nutrition Education Programs

Campaign Zero (Tax ID 81-3764408)

Mission Statement: We can end police violence in America.

We can live in a world where the police don’t kill people by limiting police interventions, improving community interactions, and ensuring accountability.

Over 1,000 people are killed by police every year in America. We are calling on local, state, and federal lawmakers to take immediate action to adopt data-driven policy solutions to end this violence and hold police accountable.

Funds donated to Campaign Zero support the analysis of policing practices across the country, research to identify effective solutions to end police violence, technical assistance to organizers leading police accountability campaigns and the development of model legislation and advocacy to end police violence nationwide.
